The IN Foundation project is supported within the joint project of the United Nations “Dialogue for the Future: Promoting Social Cohesion and Diversity in Bosnia and Herzegovina” which under the auspices of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina is implemented by UNICEF, UNESCO and UNDP. The goal of the project is to empower and engage young people in the prevention of gender-based violence through the improvement of the knowledge and skills of young people in 7 BiH municipalities: Tuzla, Bijeljina, Brčko, Doboj, Usora, Doboj Istok and Tešanj.

Young people aged 15 to 21 will undergo training on gender-based violence and project proposal writing. After the training, they will have the opportunity to write projects themselves and get a grant to implement them in order to work through different initiatives to prevent and raise awareness of gender-based violence, using newly acquired knowledge and skills for activism, social cohesion and diversity in interaction with their peers and other members of the communities they live in.

The project began in January 2019 and will last until the end of August this year.

The total value of the project is 57,558 BAM.
